By using Remembrly, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please stop using the service and reply STOP to any message from Remembrly.

1. What Remembrly is

Remembrly is a WhatsApp-based reminder service. It allows you to add contacts, collect their birthdays or anniversaries, and receive a reminder message on the day it matters. The service is operated by DJL & Associates Limited, based in the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 years of age or older to use Remembrly. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. You are also responsible for ensuring that any contacts you add have consented to being contacted by the service.

3. How the service works

• You sign up by messaging Remembrly on WhatsApp
• You add contacts by forwarding their contact card to the bot
• Remembrly reaches out to those contacts to request their birthday or anniversary
• On the day it matters, you receive a WhatsApp reminder at 7am in your local timezone

By adding a contact, you confirm that you have a legitimate personal relationship with them and that you reasonably believe they would not object to being contacted by Remembrly on your behalf.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Remembrly to:

• Add contacts without any legitimate personal relationship with them
• Spam or harass individuals
• Circumvent WhatsApp's terms of service
• Use the service for any commercial or bulk messaging purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or manipulate the bot

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that we believe is misusing the service.

5. The service is provided as-is

Remembrly does its best to ensure reliability, but we cannot guarantee that the service will be available at all times or that reminders will always be delivered on time.

We are not liable for any missed dates, failed messages, or any other direct or indirect loss arising from use of the service.

6. Future paid features

The core service is currently free. We may introduce optional paid features in the future. If we do, we will notify active users in advance. You will never be charged without explicit consent.

7. Stopping the service

To stop using Remembrly at any time:

Reply STOP to any message from Remembrly. This will immediately delete all data we hold about you and remove you from the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Remembrly after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
